Netflix’s “Trollhunters” isn’t a series I’ve had the chance to check out for myself. Nothing against the kid’s horror series, I just haven’t had the time.

That said I’ve heard good word-of-mouth regarding the series and being that it comes from the mind of Guillermo del Toro it can’t be a total waste of time. Especially with a cast featuring Ron Perlman, Steven Yeun, and Anton Yelchin.

If you’re like me and haven’t given the show a go yet, then make sure to check out the following promos below and then make your mind up from there. You have to hand it to the series as it looks utterly stunning. Hope the actual content holds up. Only one way to find out!

“Trollhunters” is created and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro. Executive producers include Marc Guggenheim, Rodrigo Blaas, Christina Steinberg, and Chad Hammes. Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman are co-executive producers.

Voice talent for includes Kelsey Grammer (“The Simpsons,” X-Men: The Last Stand), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead”), and Anton Yelchin (Fright Night).

“Trollhunters Part 2” is now streaming on Netflix.

Steven Yeun might be starring in a new film with Yoo Ah In!

On August 21, a source from the movie industry reported that Steven Yeun is considering a role in the upcoming film “Burning.”

According to the source, filming was supposed to begin last November, but production was put on hold due to internal issues. Yoo Ah In, Kang Dong Won, and Sulli were originally part of the cast, but only Yoo Ah In remains, and the rest of the lead characters are being recast with other actors. Steven Yeun is reportedly in talks to fill in for Kang Dong Won.

A source from “Burning” stated, “Steven Yeun’s appearance in the film has not been confirmed yet. We will release an official statement once casting is completed.”

“Burning” is expected to premiere in the first half of 2018.

According to Deadline, Steven Yeun will star in first-time director Boots Riley’s drama Sorry to Bother You alongside Tessa Thompson and LaKeith Stanfield.

The film is about “a black telemarketer with self-esteem issues” who “discovers a magical key to business success, propelling him to the upper echelons of the hierarchy just as his activist comrades are rising up against unjust labor practices. When he uncovers the macabre secret of his corporate overlords, he must decide whether to stand up or sell out.”

Pre-production is set to begin in Oakland, CA. For more information, check the original article.
